Dr. Tanna completed his nephrology training at Rush Medical Center in 2000. He has been working in private practice with Nephrology Associates Of Northern Illinois and Indiana (NANI) for over twenty years. He now serves as Senior Vice President and Value-Based Care Medical Director for over 150 nephrologists and 40 advanced practice providers. 

Dr. Tanna holds several hospital and LDO leadership positions, including National JV Council Chair for Fresenius. He has served as a medical staff president and is still serving on the MEC. He also served on InterWell’s Board for two years. Currently, he leads NANI's CKCC, ETC programs and serves on the Corporate Medical Advisory Board for Acumen Epic. Dr. Tanna is a member of the RPA PAL Committee.
