Dr. Laura Rankin has practiced in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for the last 40 years.  A graduate of University of Kentucky and University of Iowa College of Medicine, she did training at Indiana University Hospitals.  She became Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is a founding member of Kidney Specialists of Central Oklahoma.  She is the Medical Director of Dialysis for Integris Health, with the flagship being Integris Baptist Medical Center, a large tertiary care hospital with multi-organ transplantation. 

She is involved with Network 13, the Forum of ESRD Networks, and is on the Board of Directors of the Renal Physicians Association. 

As a military brat, she has lived in 20 states.  One daughters is a nephrologist, the other a collegiate strength and conditioning coach.  Hobbies include knitting, travel and ballroom dancing.

She is the author or co-author of 7 chapters and 25 published articles.
