Katherine Kwon, MD, FASN is a partner at Lake Michigan Nephrology in St. Joseph, Michigan. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2001, she completed her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Virginia.  

Dr Kwon is a faculty member of the internal medicine residency program at Spectrum Health Lakeland and has mentored six residents who have gone on to nephrology fellowship programs. She is passionate about helping nephrologists thrive in private practice and in using the power of the online nephrology community to help all nephrologists offer state of the art care.

In addition to her private practice work, Dr Kwon is Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Panoramic Health. She serves on the ASN Continuing Professional Development Committee and the editorial board of ASN's monthly magazine Kidney News. She joined the RPA Board of Directors in 2020, and is Co-Chair of the RPA Education Committee, responsible for planning RPA's 2024 Annual Meeting.
