Alexander Liang, M.D. is CEO and President of Dallas Nephrology Associates, a position he has held since June 2016. Dr. Liang also serves on the Board of Trustees at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Irving, Texas. He is a member of the technical expert panel supporting the OptumLabs CKD research project co-sponsored by Optum Kidney Solutions and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). Dr. Liang attended medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Liang is Secretary/Treasurer of the RPA Board of Directors. He previously served as chair of the Healthcare Payment Committee. In June 2002, Dr. Liang completed his Nephrology fellowship at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago and soon after joined Dallas Nephrology Associates. In 2011, Dr. Liang earned a Physician Leadership Certificate from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Dallas.
