Welcome to the RPA's PAL Program
RPA launched the NCAP initiative in 2003 to provide robust policy and regulatory education and training and shape policies at the federal and local level. In 2018, RPA unveiled a NEW name for its advocacy program. NCAP is now RPA Policy Advocacy Leadership (RPA PAL).
Through RPA PAL nephrologists, practice managers and administrators receive training to help ensure that coverage and payment policies do not compromise kidney patient care.
This educational effort enables nephrology practitioners and practice managers to feel comfortable talking about public policy issues with federal, state and local elected and appointed officials.
As a forum for nephrology leaders, RPA PAL provides the best strategies for promoting awareness of kidney disease among policy makers and ensuring the continuation of best practices in patient care.
