The COVID-19 pandemic has caused nephrology practices to change how they deliver care to their patients. Normal procedures and protocols have been modified or suspended. Nephrologists around the country have had to learn different approaches to delivering care to patients with Chronic Kidney Disease/End Stage Renal Disease while ensuring the safety of their patients. Dr. Isaiarasi Gnanasekaran from Bronx, NY will share her first-hand experience and address the challenges of caring for kidney patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings during this pandemic.
